Procurement Officer (Fixed Term Contract – 6 Months)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain supplier, employee and item master data on D365.
• Manage procurement categories, approved supplier listings and trade agreements.
• Provide first line support on procurement systems to purchasing and logistics teams.
• Support centralized purchasing activities and supplier onboarding processes.
• Conduct supplier sourcing and market research.
• Assist with tender administration and procurement documentation.
• Draft supplier agreements and maintain procurement records.
• Conduct spend analysis and support cost saving initiatives.
• Ensure supplier compliance and BBBEE documentation is current and complete.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve procurement related queries.

Qualifications

• Procurement or Supply Chain qualification.
• Previous experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain environment.
• Experience with vendor management, contract administration, and procure to pay processes.
• Experience working on ERP or eProcurement systems such as D365, SAP, or similar platforms.
