Job description
We’re looking for a commercially curious and analytical Product Pricing Analyst who enjoys getting behind the numbers to understand what is really driving performance. In this role, you’ll use pricing, market, competitor, customer and cost insights to help our teams make informed decisions that strengthen our market position and support profitable growth.
If you enjoy connecting data with the bigger commercial picture, spotting opportunities others may miss and turning complex information into practical recommendations, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Company
Belgotex is Africa’s leading carpet and artificial grass manufacturer. As a soft flooring specialist we design, make, and distribute high-quality broadloom and modular carpets with custom solutions available to the commercial market. Our extensive product portfolio includes luxury and specialist vinyls and artificial grass.
Corporate Values:
Better Together: We believe that people inspire greatness. It takes a team to achieve our world class standards, and we can’t do any of this alone.
We Tread Softly: We are a recognised world leader for sustainability practices, asking less of the planet in all that we do.
Deep Focus: We are on a journey of vertical growth to deliver specialised flooring solutions to Africa and the world.
Curiosity: True innovation starts with a desire to explore and achieve the unimaginable.
Courage: We’re not afraid to ask big questions, even if it means asking more of ourselves.
Purpose
The purpose of the Product Pricing Analyst is to support profitable and competitive growth by analysing product pricing, market trends, competitor activity, customer behaviour, cost drivers and margin performance across the flooring portfolio. The role is responsible for converting market intelligence and internal data into clear pricing insights, recommendations and reporting that enable informed commercial decisions, sustainable margin improvement and stronger market positioning.

Partner with Sales and Marketing to understand market feedback, competitor movement, customer requirements and commercial opportunities.
-
Work with Finance and Costing teams to align pricing recommendations with cost structures, margin targets and profitability expectations.
-
Prepare pricing reports, dashboards and analysis packs that clearly communicate trends, risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
-
Evaluate special pricing requests, deals and customer proposals for commercial viability and alignment with approved pricing principles.
-
Identify opportunities for revenue growth through segmentation, product mix optimisation and market-led pricing strategies.
-
Maintain accurate pricing data, price files, competitor benchmarks and supporting documentation.
-
Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial planning through relevant pricing, volume and margin analysis.
-
Continuously improve pricing processes, tools and reporting methods to strengthen the speed, accuracy and quality of commercial decision-making.
-
A Diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Economics, Business Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field.
-
2 to 5 years’ experience in pricing analysis, commercial analysis, market intelligence, financial analysis, sales analytics or a related analytical role.
-
Good knowledge of pricing principles, commercial analysis, market intelligence and margin management.
-
Strong analytical ability with the capability to interpret large data sets and turn information into practical business insights.
-
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
