Job description

Purpose of the Role

To plan, coordinate and drive assigned product-focused marketing activity, including product launches, product promotions, product mailers, catalogues, sales-support material and related campaign requirements. The role turns approved product priorities into accurate product information, practical plans, complete briefs, stakeholder follow-up and execution-ready handovers, while owning the day-to-day marketing tools and product-campaign information used to support delivery.

Key Performance Areas

Product campaign planning and coordination

  • Prepare clear plans, timelines, deliverables and dependencies for assigned product activity.
  • Drive follow-through from approved priority to execution-ready handover.
  • Escalate blocked work and priority conflicts.

Product information readiness and accuracy

  • Gather, verify and structure product information for campaigns, mailers, catalogues and sales tools.
  • Resolve missing details and inconsistencies promptly.
  • Ensure downstream teams receive complete and usable information.

Product marketing tools and data ownership

  • Maintain the day-to-day tools, source files, schedules, campaign information and status records used for product-campaign delivery.
  • Ensure product-campaign data remains accurate, current and traceable.
  • Identify tool or data gaps and propose improvements within Operations standards.

Briefing and handovers

  • Prepare complete product briefs with context, content needs, specifications, imagery, timing and intended use.
  • Hand complete requirements to Creative Studio and Visual Content at the correct stage, and hand approved rollout requirements to the Marketing Operations Coordinator for practical campaign execution.
  • Communicate changes promptly.

Stakeholder coordination and follow-through

  • Coordinate product, sales and business inputs, approvals and dependencies.
  • Provide practical status updates.
  • Keep assigned product activity moving through active follow-up.

Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, Product Marketing or a related field.
  • Training or experience in CRM, email marketing, marketing automation, catalogue or product-information systems would be advantageous.
  • Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant product-campaign, catalogue, CRM, email or planning tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing coordination, product marketing support, campaign planning, sales enablement or a similar role.
  • Experience gathering, checking, structuring and maintaining product information for marketing use.
  • Experience with product launches, promotions, mailers, catalogues or sales-support activity.
  • Strong practical understanding of tools used for product campaign planning, information management, catalogues, briefing, tracking and delivery.
  • Ability to coordinate product requirements, timelines, approvals, dependencies and handovers across stakeholders and marketing teams.
  • Ability to identify missing product information, unclear requirements, tool gaps, campaign risks or priority conflicts before they delay execution.
  • Strong written communication and ability to organize product and campaign information clearly.
