About the role Join Shoprite as a Production Controllerr, a pivotal role responsible for optimising daily warehouse operations by effectively managing and supporting General Assistants and Clerks. This position demands expertise in inventory management, parcel processing, and logistics coordination to ensure parcels are accurately picked, checked, packed, and dispatched punctually to clients. As a mid-level supervisory role, you will collaborate closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to uphold stringent productivity, accuracy, and service standards across the department. What you'll do* Ensure timely dispatch of parcels leaving the store area, maintaining efficient workflow.

• Oversee the entire process of picking, checking, packing, and dispatching all invoiced items to guarantee accuracy and effectiveness.
• Promote punctuality and improve attendance among staff members to support operational efficiency.
• Manage the submission of timesheets and leave forms promptly to Human Resources.
• Allocate work appropriately and communicate instructions clearly to maximise team productivity.
• Optimise staff utilisation by matching available capacity to workload demands.
• Foster a customer-centric approach by ensuring satisfactory feedback from internal and external customers.
• Enforce Good Warehouse Practice (GWP) principles and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the wholesale pharmacy, ensuring shelves and workbenches are well stocked and organised.
• Ensure cleaning logs are accurately completed and signed daily to uphold sanitation standards.

What you bring* Knowledge of operating systems within a warehouse environment.

• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Effective conflict resolution skills.
• Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Previous work experience in a similar environment is preferred.
