Production Coordinator

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Full-time, on-site Pretoria Apparel manufacturing

We are looking for a highly organised, hands-on Production Coordinator to become the control point between our Sales team and factory. You will ensure that every custom order is accurately translated into production requirements, processed through our manufacturing system, prepared for cutting, tracked through production and successfully dispatched.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

· Check customer orders, invoices and order summaries for accuracy, and resolve discrepancies before production.

· Create, process, update and close Manufacturing Orders (MOs); maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).

· Prepare manufacturing labels, job cards, packing instructions and custom-order labels.

· Prepare nesting layouts and cutting files for the laser cutter; verify sizes, quantities and fabrics; arrange recuts when needed.

· Track orders through production, keep records and statuses up to date, and flag delays or missing information early.

· Process raw materials, stock movements, adjustments and production wastage accurately.

· Coordinate packing and dispatch, book couriers, print waybills and delivery notes, and communicate completed orders.

· Do sublimation printing.

· Act as the day-to-day administrative link between Sales, Production, Packing and Dispatch.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Strong administration, organisation and follow-through.

· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

· Confident computer skills, especially Microsoft Office; Adobe software experience is useful.

· A calm, practical problem-solver who works with urgency and communicates clearly.

· Reliable, consistent and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment.

EXPERIENCE THAT WILL HELP

· Cin7 Core or another ERP/manufacturing system.

· Apparel, textile, garment or other manufacturing environments.

· Laser cutting, nesting software, digital cutting systems, patterns or cutting files.

· Garment construction, fabrics, sizing and production specifications.

· Adobe Illustrator, courier coordination or custom-order manufacturing.

A HANDS-ON FACTORY ROLE

This is not a desk-only position. You must be willing to step into the factory, assist with other production or operational tasks when required, and do what is needed to help the team meet deadlines.
