The Youth Employment Service (YES) empowers unemployed youth with market-relevant skills and practical, on-the-job training. By bridging the gap between talent and industry, the program helps businesses unlock sustainable, long-term economic opportunities for the youth.

• The Yes Program learner will be taught Air Liquide Management System, Maintenance tool and project management
• The Yes Program learner will assist plant supervisors with the creation of maintenance work order request on CMMS
• The Yes Program learner will assist the plant supervisors with the analysis of cylinders
• The Yes Program learner will assist plant supervisors with the daily stock count and record it on the daily production sheets
• The Yes Program learner will assist the facility manager with the process improvement.
• The Yes Program learner will be tasked with the management of small projects in the Facility
• The Yes Program learner will analyses the discrepancies with the production posting
• The Yes Program learner will check stock levels of full and empty cylinders, Plan production in relation to demand sheet,
• The Yes Program learner will ensure that at the end of shift targets are made, Build up stock levels.
• The Yes Program learner will report malfunctioning equipment to Production Manager, Communicate with Millwright technician during breakdowns, as to maintenance call-outs and requirements The Yes Program learner will ensure full product stickers are attached to correct cylinders.

Main Accountabilities:

• They’re required to participate in the updating of the production sheets.
• Execute tasks as assigned by the Facility Manager/Operations Manager/Supervisor.
• Achieve results beyond what is required; being proactive.
• Managing personal efficiency - manage competing priorities in a challenging
• environment, minimizing non-value-added complexity or paradox.
• Promoting and Achieving Safety - responsibility to ensure that Safety and Security areseen as imperatives for the Group
• Performance and Responsibility - action to manage all changes or to mitigate theuncertainties occurring as a result of change to achieve the Group's objectives.
• Decision Making - analyze and summarize information including value-addedsuggestions from others to develop optimal solutions.

Educational requirements

• Education: Production/ Chemical Engineering

Experience

• University leaving experience
• Proficiency with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, and AutoCAD

Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job
