Purpose
Plan, order and monitor supply of raw materials and intermediates for flavours production based on business plan(s) and objectives. Manage entire life cycle of Production Orders in the end to end manufacturing process to deliver on time all the Intermediates and Finished Goods.
Core Responsibilities
Production Planning Management Support

May support the Manufacturing Manager / Production Shift Manager in the design of local flavours production plans as well as definition of related objectives.

Adjust schedules to accommodate backlogs, design changes, and material or labour shortages.

Monitor production activity and analyse production data so that the flow of materials meet production requirements. Daily Order Fulfillment Activities

Monitor progress of raw material requests from order placement to delivery and provide forecasts whenever required.

Monitor the Material Request Plan (MRP) and related stock to ensure that all materials are available in the right quantity, quality and on time.

Report on inventories and supply needs and places orders as deemed appropriate to avoid business disruption.

Monitor order confirmations and track delivery of materials by suppliers.

Liaise with materials requestors regarding delivery schedules, exceptions management, order changes, etc. Raw Materials Inventory Administration

Analyse and optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages and dispose of obsolete materials.

Input and maintain materials data in relevant systems (SAP, CMS) to ensure accurate information flow to all involved functions (Purchasing, QM/QC, Production, Warehouse, etc.). Academic Background

Degree / Diploma in Technical Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline
Professional Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to supply chain or production planning , or quality and/or materials management.
Technical Skills
- APICS Certification preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Showcase, AS400, WMS, Error Log in SAP/CMS.
- Experience writing, performing queries in AS400 or similar systems.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts (e.g. CAPEX, COGs).
- Costing experience preferred.
