Hi Fiber Foods t/a Gango Maize Popcorn is expanding its Production Division and is looking for a skilled and competent Production Shift Supervisor to join our growing team.

Location: Hermanstad, Pretoria, Gauteng
Start Date: Immediately

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production staff by giving clear instructions and guidance, while leading by example
• Monitor food production activities to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules
• Identify operational issues and provide continuous support to team members to maintain operating standards
• Conduct accurate stock counts and maintain proper stock control
• Promote workplace safety and recommend process improvements where necessary
• Monitor machinery and equipment performance to ensure efficient production output
• Respond quickly and effectively when problems arise during production
• Maintain high production standards, attention to detail, and deadline-driven performance
• Be willing to work shifts and weekends when required

Requirements

• Computer literate
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• High work standards, energetic, disciplined, and driven
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Ability to follow instructions and ensure compliance with production procedures
• Must be legally permitted to work in the Republic of South Africa
• Applicants without valid work authorisation must not apply

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 / High School Certificate (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
• Supervisor experience will be an added advantage
• Experience in machinery operations will be an added advantage
• Experience in the food production industry will be an added advantage
• Diploma or Certificate in Operations and Machinery will be an added advantage
• Experience in equipment monitoring and production operations will be an added advantage

General

• This is a full-time, office-based position at the Company’s Hermanstad, Pretoria, Gauteng, 0082 premises
• The Employee may be required to perform reasonable additional duties related to the role as assigned by Management

Pay: R8 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
