POSITION INFO: REQUIREMENTS Completed accounting qualification with articles experience Strong written and verbal communication in English and Afrikaans Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and CaseWare Solid knowledge of IAS, IFRS for SMEs, Companies Act, and tax regulations including VAT, PAYE and SARS processes Confident people's person for professional client interaction Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills Essential to be open to learning and growth DUTIES Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with applicable reporting standards Compile management accounts and financial reports Process and review bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and income tax returns Perform monthly reconciliations of bank, debtor, creditor, and general ledger accounts Assist with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements Liaise with clients regarding financial information and outstanding documentation Communicate with SARS regarding queries, submissions, and disputes Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation Assist with the preparation of working papers for independent reviews and audits Review accounting records and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement Supervise and support junior accounting staff where required Manage multiple client portfolios and ensure deadlines are met Perform general accounting and administrative duties as required Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
