Programme Assistant Intern – iAccelerate SA

The role of the Programme Assistant Intern will be to primarily assist the assistant programme coordinator with the day-to-day administrative and operational requirements of the iAccelerate SA programme. The programme assistant Intern will provide additional capacity to the existing team by supporting programme administration, research, data management and session logistics.

Key responsibilities

Programme administration

• Assist with general administrative tasks relating to the programme.
• Maintain and update programme records, databases and attendance trackers.
• Assist with filing and organising programme documents and information.
• Support the Assistant Programme Coordinator with scheduling and general programme coordination where required.

Research and data

• Conduct basic research on potential partners, organisations, opportunities and relevant programme resources.
• Gather and organise information for potential leads and maintain relevant databases.
• Assist with data capturing and organising information required for reporting.
• Assist with capturing relevant social media performance data for quarterly reporting purposes where needed.

Session and programme support

• Assist with the logistical preparation of programme sessions and activities.
• Help prepare materials and resources required for sessions.
• Provide general administrative and logistical support during programme activities and events.
• Where appropriate, provide input and ideas for activities or session elements, drawing on their own entrepreneurial experience and perspective.

General support

• Assist the wider iAccelerate SA team with reasonable administrative and operational tasks as required.
• Maintain organised records and complete assigned tasks accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Work collaboratively with the team and communicate professionally.

Minimum requirements

• Qualification: Currently studying or has achieved a bachelor’s degree or diploma in entrepreneurship, business, administration or a related field.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Google workspace.
