Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, Law, or a related field.
A postgraduate qualification in Risk Management or Governance will be an added advantage.
Professional certification (e.g., IRMSA, ISO 31000, CRMA, or related) is advantageous.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in risk management, compliance, governance, internal auditing, or operational risk.
Experience in developing and implementing enterprise risk management frameworks.
Experience conducting risk assessments and maintaining risk registers.
Knowledge of internal controls and business continuity planning.
Job Description:
Mamadi and Company (Pty) Ltd is looking for a Risk Manager. The candidate will be ultimately responsible for
· Developing and implementing the company's risk management framework.
· Identify strategic, operational, financial, legal, environmental, and project risks.
The role should support the Chief Executive Officer and executive management in ensuring sound internal controls in the areas of
· Project execution,
· Subconsultant management,
· Procurement,
· Documentation,
· Deliverables,
· SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality)
· Conduct regular risk assessments.
· Maintain the corporate risk register.
· Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and company policies.
· Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact.
· Assist with compliance audits.
· Support good corporate governance practices.
· Prepare risk reports for Executive Management and the Board.
· Facilitate Risk Committee meetings.
· Review project risk registers.
· Monitor risks affecting project cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
· Recommend mitigation measures.
