About the Role

Ubuntu Logistics is seeking a skilled and driven Project Manager to oversee fibre optic and telecommunications projects, with a strong focus on WiFi network deployment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing end-to-end projects in the telecoms environment, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee fibre optic and WiFi network installation projects from planning to completion
Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring targets are met
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Conduct site inspections and resolve on-site challenges
Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Handle project documentation, reporting, and handover processes

Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager in fibre optics, telecommunications, or WiFi networks
Strong understanding of fibre installation, wireless technologies, and telecom infrastructure
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent leadership and team coordination skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license (essential)
Relevant certification or qualification in Project Management or Telecommunications (advantageous)
