Project Manager IT

Reporting to : IT Manager

Location: Topaz Warehouse , Montague Gardens

The Key Focus Areas and responsibilities of the role

• Project management administration – keeping up to date with various players to ensure we meet deadlines
• Diary co-ordination – setting up meetings with users across the organisation and making sure they are available on the required days for us to migrate their machines
• Follow up and ensure users are migrated and obtain user sign off from each user on completion of the migration
• Do a follow up with users after the migration and resolve issue they may be having
• Assist with any other admin issues that may arise out of the migration process such as
• • Obtain data from various players and submit to interested parties
    • Reply on correspondence with the project teams and ensure responsible parties submit data on time
    • Resolve any issues with 3rd party providers arising from the migration by engaging with the responsible person and ensuring resolution is found

Requirements

• Proficient with using integrated diaries in Microsoft
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Good knowledge of Sharepoint (this would be a bonus – not required)
• Ability to communicate well with others
• Be assertive in dealing with difficult users
• Ability to work late hours and weekends when required
• Good administrative skills such as
• • Good record keeping
    • Manage change management
    • Keeping records on change management with the appropriate sign off
    • Taking the lead in writing up and creating SOP’s
