Job Summary
Our client is seeking two independent, detail-oriented Project / Virtual Assistants to support tender and procurement projects for municipal clients. This is a long-term engagement with an established client relationship — not a short-term or rotating assignment — and the client has expressed clear interest in scaling the arrangement over time as workload grows.
Key Responsibilities
● Monitor project plans, actions, and deadlines to ensure nothing is missed
● Check and process incoming documents accurately and on schedule
● Maintain and complete project files and dossiers to a high standard
● Support publication and communication activities via TenderNed, the Dutch public procurement platform
● Manage agendas, shared mailboxes, and project overviews
● Proactively flag missing information or stalled actions to the relevant stakeholders
● Maintain consistent, reliable availability during agreed working days, with flexibility around critical deadlines
Required Qualifications & Skills
● Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of precision and structure
● Proactive working style — comfortable following up and chasing outstanding items without being prompted
● Professional-level Dutch communication skills, both written and spoken (non-negotiable)
● Ability to work independently and reliably according to established procedures
● Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple concurrent deadlines
● Reliable internet connection and remote-work setup, with daily availability during agreed hours
Preferred Qualifications
● Prior experience with tenders, procurement processes, or TenderNed specifically
● Experience working with or for municipal (gemeente) or other government organizations
● Experience in a remote, client-facing support role
Compensation & Benefits
● Compensation to be confirmed based on experience
● Long-term placement with a single client, rather than a rotating project structure
● Working hours structured around agreed availability, with flexibility to scale as the engagement grows
● A clear, established playbook (draaiboek) is already in place to support onboarding and day-to-day work
