About the Role

HWSETA is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Provincial Officer: Gauteng to support the implementation of health and social development initiatives at provincial level. The successful candidate will provide stakeholder support, perform delegated ETQA, Skills Development Planning and Research, Information, Monitoring and Evaluation (RIME) functions, facilitate accreditation processes, and support the implementation and monitoring of HWSETA projects within the province.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing support to stakeholders on accreditation, assessor and moderator registration processes.
• Evaluating accreditation applications, conducting site visits and making recommendations for approval.
• Supporting Skills Development Providers with learner uploads, linking processes, and compliance requirements.
• Conducting external moderation, verification, site validations, monitoring visits and EISA-related activities.
• Supporting Research, Information, Monitoring and Evaluation (RIME) activities and data collection processes.
• Coordinating partnerships with TVET Colleges, Universities and Community Colleges.
• Providing technical support to employers regarding WSP/ATR submissions, SDF registrations and discretionary grant processes.
• Conducting project inductions, monitoring and evaluating projects, compiling reports and making funding recommendations.
• Supporting performance information reporting, quality assurance processes and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Participating in career exhibitions, advocacy programmes, marketing activities and stakeholder capacity-building initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources Development, Social Sciences, or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid Code 08 Driver's Licence.
• Own vehicle is essential.

Experience

• 3–5 years' experience in an Education and Training Development or Human Resource Development environment.
• Specialised SETA and/or Chamber knowledge will be advantageous.
