Public Area Attendant

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, including:
• Lobbies and atriums
• Corridors and staircases
• Elevators
• Lounges and theaters
• Restaurants and bars
• Restrooms
• Fitness and spa areas
• Decks and other guest-accessible spaces
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Clean windows, mirrors, glass panels, and fixtures.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste correctly.
• Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Respond promptly to spills and cleaning requests.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Follow company sanitation standards and public health regulations.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
• Deliver friendly and professional service when interacting with guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or hotel cleaning is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Good English communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: R22 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
