QC ENGINEER
Location: Woodstock

Reporting to: QC Manager
Salary Range: R25,000 – R20,000 per month, depending on experience.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QC Engineer to support the Quality Control Manager in ensuring that all products, processes, and quality systems comply with international safety standards, customer requirements, and regulatory specifications. The successful candidate will assist in managing quality assurance activities, leading quality improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with applicable gas and electrical compliance systems.
The successful incumbent will be able to identify and prevent quality defects, drive continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes, reduce quality-related costs, and ensure the consistent production of safe, reliable, and compliant appliances. The incumbent will serve as the primary liaison between production, engineering, suppliers, customers, and management to effectively address and resolve quality-related matters.
This role requires close collaboration with the Quality Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Engineers, Maintenance Team, Warehouse and Logistics, Procurement Department, Production Supervisors, and Operators to drive quality excellence across the business. The successful candidate will serve as a technical authority on quality-related matters and may be responsible for guiding, mentoring, and supervising Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
