QHSE Officer

OSC Marine Group is seeking an experienced and proactive QHSE Officer to support the QHSE Manager in maintaining and continually improving the Company's Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System across its marine, offshore and engineering operations.

The successful candidate will assist with audits, inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, training and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to company procedures, client requirements and applicable legislation.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the implementation and maintenance of the Company's QHSE Management System.

· Conduct workplace inspections, audits and compliance assessments.

· Assist with risk assessments, hazard identification and incident investigations.

· Monitor corrective actions and maintain QHSE records and documentation.

· Prepare QHSE reports

· Assist with QHSE inductions, toolbox talks and training activities.

· Participate in internal and external audits.

· Support project teams in achieving QHSE objectives and compliance requirements.

· Promote a positive safety culture across all operations.

Qualifications and Skills

· NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).

· Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a QHSE, HSE or Safety Officer role.

· Strong knowledge of health, safety and compliance requirements.

· Experience with audits, inspections, incident investigations and risk assessments.

· Excellent communication, reporting and organisational skills.

· Valid driver's licence.

· Resides in Cape Town or surrounding areas.
