Job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Qualified 3-Phase Heavy Current Electrician to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical distribution systems, switchgear, and heavy-current machinery.

Requirements:

Trade Qualification: Valid Trade Test Certificate Experience: Post-qualification experience working with 3-phase heavy current systems.
Substation Knowledge: Previous experience working within substations, switchgear, or high-voltage environments is an advantageous asset.
Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License (Code 8 / Code 10 or equivalent) is mandatory.
Certifications: Wireman’s License (S3-Phase Phase Registered Person) is required.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
