THE FREIGHTMORE GROUP OF COMPANIES
QUALIFIED DIESEL MECHANIC - DURBAN BRANCH
REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified mechanic with trade test certificate
- Must have own tools
- Must have own transport
- Must understand at least 2 official languages
- Code 14 Driver's License
- 5 - 10 Years' experience repairing trucks and trailers
- Basic electrical
- Panel beating and spray painting experience is an advantage
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Servicing of trucks and trailers
- Overhaul clutch
- Overhaul brakes
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
- Keep logs of work and report on issues
- Repairs to truck and trailer bodies
- Trace and repair air leaks on trailers
- Change tyres
- Purchasing truck parts
