Qualified Millwrights for a Leading Mining Operation in the Northern Cape (Kathu & Kuruman)

We’re partnering with a major player in the mining sector to recruit experienced Qualified Millwrights who can keep critical production equipment running at peak performance.

What You’ll Be Working On

As a Millwright in this operation, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty mining equipment, including:

• Crushers
• Large conveyors
• Materials handling systems
• High-capacity mechanical & electrical machinery
• Heavy industrial plant equipment

You’ll play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the operation.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Qualified Millwright (Trade Tested)
• N3 Certificate or Grade 12
• 3+ years post-trade experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment
• Strong hands-on experience with crushers, conveyors, and heavy-duty machinery
• Solid electrical & mechanical fault-finding skills
• Valid Code 8 driver’s license
• Ability to complete a Mining Medical Fitness Assessment

If your background is mainly FMCG, bakery, or packaging machinery, this role will not be suitable — we specifically need heavy industrial / mining experience.
