We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive and quality-driven Quality Co-Ordinator to join our SHEQ team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality assurance, continuous improvement and maintaining high product standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Purpose of the Role
The Quality Co-Ordinator is responsible for supporting the organisation's Quality Management System by ensuring products, processes and documentation comply with company standards, customer requirements and ISO 9001 quality management principles.
The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Warehouse and SHEQ teams to monitor quality, identify opportunities for improvement and assist in maintaining product integrity throughout the manufacturing process.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Quality Monitoring
- Conduct daily production quality spot checks.
- Perform job card inspections to verify production accuracy.
- Conduct plant and packaging walkthrough inspections.
- Inspect flowbins and verify product quality.
- Verify Quality Control specifications before product release.
- Monitor wastage and approve wastage documentation.
Documentation & Record Control
- Review uploaded production job cards on Assetpool.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and records.
- Upload and manage retention sample information.
- Ensure all quality records are complete and traceable.
Quality Assurance
- Monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Conduct weekly NCR shelf counts.
- Assist with investigations into quality deviations.
- Support implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Participate in Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs).
Product Quality & Compliance
- Manage retention samples and inspection schedules.
- Track expired and damaged stock.
- Prepare Extended Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
- Support product relabelling activities.
- Assist with Corrective Work Instructions (CWIs).
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve quality processes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Support compliance with ISO quality standards.
- Assist during internal and external quality audits.
Pay: From R8 000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bethal, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
