Quality Control Inspector x 3 Position

JOB PURPOSE

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and enforcement of quality control processes, ensure compliance with designs and standards, implement improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product reliability in the following production sections. (Offline Fiberglass, Offline steel, Chassis Prep, OPSWEIS, Panelling and Finishing).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure compliance to engineering drawings.
• Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspections on busses.
• Identify defects and non-compliances to quality standards.
• Conduct product audits.
• Conduct regular meetings with production teams to address quality issues.
• Ensure proper control of segregation of non-conformances.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

• Must have a Grade 12 / Matric certification.
• Must have 2-3 years working experience in Quality Control preferably in an Automotive/ manufacturing industry.
• Must have knowledge and understanding of quality systems (NCR, CAPA, G8D, ISO 9001:2015).

Other requirements

· Experience in inspection and testing techniques (incoming, in-process, final).

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

· Ability to use and understand measuring instruments (vernier, ruler, gauges, measuring tape)

· Must have good eye/hand coordination.

• Physical Fitness: Must be medically and physically fit to work in a production environment and in adverse working conditions - heat, noise, standing and walking for extended periods.

• Teamwork: Proven ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration within a team environment.
