Fully OnsiteWhat you will do

The Quality Control Lab Technician will be responsible for the sampling of raw materials entering the warehouse to be sent to the QC Laboratory for analysis, checking of packaging components and ensuring that goods are stored in their specified areas within the warehouse.

Ranqe:

Internal: Manufacturing, Laboratory, warehouse

External: Suppliers raw material and packaging components

Main responsibilities:

SAMPLING OF INCOMING RAW MATERIAL. SEMI-FINISHED AND THIRD PARTY MATERIAL

  • Adhere to planning priority to support the laboratory
  • Samples always available for testing when needed, which may require working beyond normal working hours to meet these targets

ADHERING TO ALL GMP. EHS. SOP'S AND COMPANY REGULATIONS

  • Always adhering to EHS regulations. Always following Standard Operating Procedures regarding tasks that are being performed. Adhering to Kenvue policies and regulations

ENSURING SANITIZATION OF ALL SAMPLING TOOLS AND ROOMS

  • Maintaining a high standard of GMP within sampling booths and surrounding areas. Ensuring that areas in and around the sampling zones are maintained according to EHS and cGMP standards
  • Maintain registers and log books to control the environmental conditions inside and outside the designated sampling areas

ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL

  • Ensure working conditions are according to EHS and GMP requirements and alerting superiors if conditions change
  • Maintaining logbooks according to assigned responsibilities
  • Report findings

SAMPLING COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATORY AND CORPORATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ensure training on latest SOP/WI is completed prior to executing tasks. Instruments calibrated per procedure.
  • Maintains housekeeping standards in the sampling areas and designated storage areas.
  • No areas of Special Concern identified because of internal or external audit findings. Instruments calibrated on schedule. No visible contamination. spillage dirt, dust, and damage to area.

IDENTIFY ITEMS THAT DO NOT MEET REQUIRED STANDARDS

  • Investigation of Out Of Trend (OOT) and Out Of Specification (OOS) results in accordance with specified SOP's and method specifications completed within specified time frame, root cause established following investigation.

ENVIRONMENT HEALTH & SAFETY

  • Ensure that colleagues understand their roles and responsibilities and maintain compliance to relevant
  • EHS guidelines and legislative requirements in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Keep up to date with EHS programs in accordance with the training matrix.
  • Conduct and or participate in EHS.

What we are looking for

Required qualifications

  • Minimum — Grade 12
  • Knowledge of materials handling
  • Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel. Outlook
  • Able to lift 20 kg
  • Operate warehouse motorised equipment and machinery
  • Able to multi-task and take on extra responsibility
