Quality - Responsible Complaints Person

Purpose of the position

Assist the quality manager/quality management team and local management in meeting global policies and local quality procedures.

Key elements of the Role

Essential Functions

• Perform the role of the Responsible Complaints Person (RCP)
• Back up RCP for Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
• The primary function of the Quality Associate will be the role of the RCP:
• Management of product complaints in accordance with GQS 130 and the local SOP on product complaints.
• The identification, collection, and logging of all product complaints. Management and processing of product complaints received and logged by the Lilly Med info Hub Team on the dedicated quality management system
• Complaint sample retrieval and shipping of the samples to the responsible investigating sites.
• Complaint closure and responding to the complainant/reporter.
• Product complaint trending performed on a quarterly basis.
• Any projects or training relating to product complaints.

Education

Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree

Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council

1 year in the pharmaceutical industry with exposure to quality assurance (Beneficial)

Additional Pertinent Information

The candidate hired for this position will be employed through a labour broker, Safrimed , which is a third party labour partner organisation located in South Africa. The successful candidate will work exclusively for Eli Lilly, providing dedicated support to the business goals. The contract is open-ended and does not have a set end date.
