Job Description

You will own the financial heartbeat of an active real estate portfolio. From maintaining accurate books in QuickBooks to analyzing project trends and budget performance, you'll ensure every dollar is tracked, every timeline is met, and every decision is backed by solid data. This role blends precision accounting with strategic analysis, giving you visibility into the full financial picture while supporting a hands-on investment team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records across multiple real estate projects using QuickBooks
• Manage and reconcile bank accounts including Relay Banking and Chase Banking platforms
• Track and monitor rehab budgets with close attention to detail and timeline accuracy
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends and performance patterns across projects
• Prepare reports and insights that help the team understand where improvements can be made
• Coordinate with external bookkeepers and tax professionals to ensure filing readiness
• Organize and manage financial documents using Google Drive
• Provide actionable financial recommendations based on data analysis

Must-Have Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting and bookkeeping Strong background in financial analysis and reporting
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Experience working with banking platforms and account reconciliation
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Bonus if you have experience in real estate finance or property management
• It helps if you've worked with Relay Banking or similar modern banking platforms
• Bonus if you have experience managing budgets for construction or rehab projects
