Real Estate Lead Generation Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Shelly Beach, KwaZulu-Natal
We are looking for a confident, motivated and professional Real Estate Lead Generation Assistant to join our team on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for renewal for a further three months based on performance and business requirements.
This is an office-based position where you will play an important role in generating quality property leads by telephonically contacting homeowners and identifying potential sellers. Successful leads will then be referred to the relevant real estate agents.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound telephone calls to property owners using company-provided databases from a company provided cell phone.
- Build rapport with homeowners and identify potential property sellers.
- Qualify prospective sellers and gather relevant property information.
- Pass qualified leads to the appropriate real estate agents.
- Update and maintain lead spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Record accurate notes following each conversation.
- Follow up on previous conversations where required.
- Meet daily and weekly call and lead generation targets.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Afrikaans will be a significant advantage.
- Previous real estate experience will be advantageous.
- Previous call centre, telesales or customer service experience will be advantageous.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and email.
- Reliable transport to and from our Shelly Beach office.
- Own laptop with Microsoft Excel installed.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional telephone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Positive attitude, resilience and confidence when dealing with objections.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 09:00 to 16:00
- 30-minute lunch break
Contract
- Initial 3-month fixed-term contract.
- Potential for renewal for a further three months based on performance and business requirements.
