Job description

Your Mission as a Receiving and Dispatch Clerk

Are you passionate about keeping operations moving through accurate, well-organised goods handling?

At Epiroc, our workshop depends on every part, component and piece of equipment being received, recorded and dispatched correctly and on time. As our Receiving and Dispatch Clerk, you'll be the reliable hand that ensures stock control is tight, documentation is accurate, and the workshop always has what it needs to deliver. If you take pride in detail, order and getting things right the first time, we'd love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

  • Receive incoming materials, components and equipment, verifying delivery notes, purchase orders and quantities against what's delivered.
  • Inspect goods for quality, damage and correctness, and report any discrepancies, shortages or damaged goods immediately.
  • Prepare, package, label and dispatch outgoing goods against job cards, requisitions and dispatch orders.
  • Coordinate with procurement, workshop and logistics teams to ensure materials and finished products move on time.
  • Maintain orderly storage areas and apply FIFO or other company stock rotation methods.
  • Monitor stock levels and flag low stock or irregularities.
  • Capture receipts and dispatches on ERP or inventory systems and keep documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Follow all safety, quality and operational procedures, use PPE correctly, and report hazards or incidents.

What you'll bring

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • 1–3 years' experience in a stores, receiving or dispatch environment.
  • Experience in an engineering or workshop environment (advantageous).
  • Computer literacy: MS Office, stock systems and ERP (advantageous).
  • Basic mechanical or technical understanding (advantageous).
