Receiving and Dispatch Coordinator

Job Purpose

To ensure smooth branch warehouse operations through accurate stock handling, adherence to SOPs, and professional support to internal and external clients.

Brief Description of Key Performance Areas

• Ensure all shipments are accurately received, shelved, and dispatched in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Promptly identify and escalate any discrepancies.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, organized, and safe condition always, adhering to housekeeping and safety standards.
• Complete all assigned tasks and projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met and work is of a high standard.
• Process payments in line with SOPs, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Handle all returned stock in accordance with SOPs, ensuring proper documentation and processing.
• Provide friendly, professional assistance to clients, couriers, and drivers always.
• Respond to emails and phone calls promptly, professionally, and efficiently.
• Escalate all client concerns or feedback to the Branch Supervisor in a timely manner.

Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ similar experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
• Prior experience in Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office).
