SUMMARY: POSITION INFO: Receiving Clerk & Code 10 Driver Reference: MID698 Location: Beaconvale, Cape Town About Our Client Our client is a well-established South African engineering and industrial services company specializing in the refurbishment, repair, manufacture, and supply of industrial rollers and related engineering components. They provide high-quality solutions to customers across various industries including printing, packaging, mining, manufacturing, steel, paper, plastics, and converting. Their reputation is built on technical expertise, exceptional customer service, and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: Receive and inspect incoming products, components and customer equipment. Verify deliveries against delivery notes, purchase orders and job cards. Record all received items accurately within company procedures. Identify and report shortages, damages or discrepancies. Communicate receipt of customer products to Customer Service. Allocate and prepare job cards for production. Ensure products are correctly labelled and stored. Coordinate movement of products to designated workshop areas. Arrange products requiring sandblasting or specialized processing. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries. Support dispatch activities when required. Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation. Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained. Work closely with Stores, Production and Customer Service teams. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or Stores Clerk within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office). Good administrative and recordkeeping skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings would be advantageous. Valid Code 10 driver's license with PDP (advantageous).
