Receiving Manager Responsibilities:

Receiving managers oversee goods delivered to the store. rn this

role, you review incoming orders on the daily log rin-der, purchase o.0", _ ort"irnors

orders, accept loads from suppliers, and inspect received products to make sure they meet quality standards.

The receiving manager's responsibilities include verifying delivered items, unloading trucks,

ensuring items are stored correctly, and processing returns.

They should be able to inspect deliveries with great attention to detail, ensuring efficient

receiving processes are in place. Promptly resolve any problems or discrepancies

Main accountabilities:

. Comparing purchase orders with invoices & packaging lists'

. Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order & invoice criteria

. Receiving, stamping & signing for deliveries'

. Unloading deliveries from trucks. Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items

. Organzind and storing received items rn appropriate areas' neat & vrsrble'

. tlDdatino tnventory with leceived items'

. insure product knowledge is up to date - ongoing

Receive lncoming Stock . One of the most important responsibilities for receiving managers is to oversee

incoming items that arrive attheir facility. . They review purchase orders and match items to those that were ordered, note any

discrepancies, document items received, & GRV onto database. . Make sufe that the delivery is for your store . The stock is received outside the store and only brought in if it is all there as per the

invoice

Compare purchase order with your invoice.

Whatever is on the invoice but not on the purchase order must be sent back.

Return what needs to be return and stam invoice
