Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Receptionist – 5 Star Luxury Game Lodge – Nambiti, KwaZulu-Natal Introduction A prestigious 5 Star Luxury Game Lodge located in the beautiful Nambiti region of KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a professional and guest-focused Receptionist to join its hospitality team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and thrives in a luxury hospitality environment.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless check-in and check-out experience. The role requires outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage reservations, guest enquiries, and administrative duties efficiently. Working within a luxury game lodge setting, the Receptionist will play a key role in maintaining the lodge’s high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people from diverse backgrounds while providing personalized service that enhances the overall guest experience. Candidates should be highly organized, professional in appearance, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience within hospitality, lodges, hotels, or resorts will be advantageous.

Job Requirements & Description

• Welcome guests upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service.
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
• Handle reservations, bookings, amendments, and cancellations.
• Respond to guest enquiries via telephone, email, and in person.
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and operational departments.
• Ensure reception and lobby areas remain professional and presentable.
• Assist guests with information regarding lodge facilities and activities.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Perform general administrative and reception duties.
• Previous reception or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and reservation systems advantageous.
• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Valid driver’s license advantageous.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
