Hospitality And Outdoor – New Vacancy – Receptionist – Luxury Lodge – KwaZulu Natal A prestigious luxury lodge in KwaZulu Natal is currently seeking an experienced and professional Receptionist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about guest service and has strong front office experience within the hospitality industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure while ensuring the smooth operation of the reception department. Candidates must have previous experience working with the Opera Property Management System, as this is a non-negotiable requirement for the role.

Working within a luxury hospitality environment, the Receptionist will be expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, attention to detail, and guest service. The ideal candidate will be confident, well-presented, organized, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while delivering personalized service to guests.

This is a live-in position offering a competitive salary package and the opportunity to work in a beautiful lodge setting while gaining valuable experience within a respected hospitality establishment.

Job Description

• Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional check-in experience
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally
• Handle reservations, amendments, and guest enquiries
• Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
• Assist with guest requests and coordinate with relevant departments
• Maintain reception standards and administrative records
• Ensure excellent guest satisfaction at all times
• Answer telephone and email correspondence professionally

Job Requirements

• Previous Receptionist experience within hospitality
• Opera PMS experience is essential
• Strong guest relations and customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional presentation and grooming standards
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
