Job description

FRD Poultry Farming Equipment SA (Pty) Ltd is looking for an Afrikaans-speaking Receptionist & Cashier to join our team in Germiston.

This is a customer-facing role. The successful candidate will assist customers at reception, handle enquiries, process payments, print orders, and assist with general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Answer and respond to customer enquiries via landline, WhatsApp and email
Handle cash and card payments accurately and issue invoices, receipts and other relevant documents
Provide customers with basic product information and direct them to the relevant salesperson
Prepare and send quotations via email and WhatsApp when required
Communicate with customers, suppliers, drivers and other business contacts professionally
Handle other admin tasks when required.

Requirements

Previous experience in reception, cashier, customer service or administration is preferred
Must be fluent in Afrikaans
Experience handling payments, invoices or quotations will be an advantage
Good communication and customer service skills
Comfortable communicating with customers via phone, WhatsApp and email
Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail, especially when handling payments, orders and invoices

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (rotation-based)

Pay: R6 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
