Other Receptionist for Hotel in Camps Bay, Cape Town Introduction We are currently seeking a polished and customer-focused Receptionist to join a prestigious 5-star hotel situated in the heart of Camps Bay, Cape Town.

As the first point of contact for guests, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in shaping the overall guest journey from arrival through to departure. You will be responsible for providing a seamless and professional front desk service, ensuring that all guest interactions reflect the high standards expected in a 5-star property.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a front office or receptionist role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury or boutique hotel setting. A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for guest service are essential.

Key Responsibilities Job Requirements & Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide efficient check-in and check-out services
• Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with 5★ standards
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally
• Manage reservations, room allocations, and guest profiles
• Operate PMS systems (Opera or similar) and maintain accurate records
• Process payments, billing, and daily cash handling procedures
• Liaise with housekeeping and other departments for seamless operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management (preferred)
• 1–3 years’ experience in a receptionist or front desk role
• Experience in a luxury hotel environment advantageous
• Strong knowledge of PMS systems (Opera or similar)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Salary: R12 000 DOE
