PLANET FITNESS DURBANVILLE IS HIRING!
We are looking for passionate, reliable and well-presented individuals to join our team!
_1. RECEPTIONIST (Front Desk)_
_Requirements:_
- Matric / Grade 12
- Previous reception / customer service / admin experience (gym experience advantageous)
- Well-spoken, professional and punctual
- Computer literate (MS Office / POS Systems)
- Able to work shifts, weekends & public holidays
_Duties:_
- Greet members and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle check-ins, member queries, freezes, cancellations, bookings
- Process sales, upgrades & payments accurately
- Handle high-volume calls and front desk admin
- Maintain tidy and presentable reception area
_2. FACILITY ATTENDANT (Cleaning / Floor)_
_Requirements:_
- Matric preferred but not essential
- Previous cleaning / gym / hospitality experience advantageous
- Physically fit, hardworking and reliable
- Able to work shifts, weekends & public holidays
_Duties:_
- Maintain cleanliness of gym floor, change rooms, and studios
- Ensure towels are available and equipment is wiped down
- Assist members on the floor and report faulty equipment
- Ensure health & safety standards are met at all times
_3. TECHNICIAN / MAINTENANCE (Gym Tech)_
_Requirements:_
- Technical / Maintenance experience (gym equipment an advantage)
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical & general maintenance
- Able to work under pressure and be on call when needed
- Valid driver's license advantageous
_Duties:_
- Daily checks and preventative maintenance of all gym equipment
- Attend to breakdowns timeously and liaise with external suppliers
- General facility maintenance and repairs
- Keep maintenance log up to date
