Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Receptionist role based in Westville, Westwood Mall. The Receptionist will greet and assist members and visitors, manage check-ins, and provide information about gym services, classes, and policies. Responsibilities include handling incoming calls, responding to email inquiries, scheduling appointments or tours, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area. The role also involves processing memberships, updating member details, coordinating with other team members, and assisting with basic administrative and clerical tasks to support smooth front-desk operations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with members and visitors.
• Proficiency in receptionist duties, including greeting guests, managing check-ins, and directing inquiries appropriately.
• Solid phone etiquette and the ability to handle incoming and outgoing calls efficiently and politely.
• Basic clerical skills, such as data entry, filing, and managing simple administrative tasks.
• Comfort using computers and point-of-sale or membership systems; prior experience in a fitness or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Umhlanga, including flexible hours, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Reliable time management, attention to detail, and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Pay: R7 000,00 per month
