Duties and responsibilities:

  • Capture gym membership agreements and payments (financial data) and access-related enrolments on subsystems (Intensity).
  • Apply membership cancellation processes and attend to all client enquiries (telephonic, email and walk-ins).
  • Manage compliance with the Public Administration and Management Act (PASA), including providing relevant reports, maintaining accurate records, implementing PASA-related requests, and coordinating and monitoring matters arising from the Strategic Transformation Committee (STRATCOL).
  • Assist with debtor management (financial reports, implementation of debtor corrections and contacting).
  • Assist with monthly financial reconciliation reports.
  • Assist with monthly member number reports.
  • Assist with High-Performance athletes’ monthly access to training facilities.
  • Report maintenance issues relating to the building and equipment as prescribed in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Assist with the opening and closing of KovsieFit, as well as weekend shifts (every second weekend) from 07:00–11:00.
  • Perform general office administration, including filing, photocopying and ordering stationery.
  • Assist with group classes (bookings, class structures and client set-ups).
  • Assist on the floor (equipment and programmes).
  • Read and reply to all KovsieFit emails.
  • Assist with Health and Safety.
  • Assist with service requests and SOLVEIT queries to ensure timely resolution.

Inherent requirements:

  • Grade 12 or national vocational certificate on NQF Level 4.
  • One (1) year’s relevant working experience relating to the duties and responsibilities.

Recommendations:

  • Previous work experience with gym management software, debtor management, financial data capturing and reception duties.

Salary:

The annual remuneration package, including benefits is R 240,866. 45– R 403,692. 54 per annum, depending on the budget available for the position, relevant work experience and qualifications.
