Temporary Part-Time Receptionist

Rate: To be negotiated based on qualification

FTE : 1-4 days per week/Temp

Clinic Hours: 9am-5pm Monday- Friday

Competition Closing Date: Until a suitable candidate is found

Job Description The Raymond Medical Clinic is looking for a professional and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in providing a welcoming environment while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic. We are seeking a reliable individual with strong organizational skills who will be an asset to our current team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally
• Answer and direct phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Schedule and manage patient appointments using our EMR
• Update existing patient records accurately
• Handle patient payments in various forms and provide receipts when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized desk area
• Collaborate with staff to support an efficient clinic workflow
• Protect our patients’ confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills verbal and written
• Proficient with computers & office equipment
• Appropriate phone etiquette, ability to answer calls and communicate with patients/other professionals over the phone
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Good prioritization skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Be teachable and willing to learn
• Professional demeanor and appearance
