Receptionist

Zone Fitness Willowbridge is looking for a friendly, organised Receptionist to welcome members and visitors and help ensure the smooth running of our front desk.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome members and visitors and provide professional, helpful service.
• Assist with member check-ins and general enquiries.
• Answer telephone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with reception administration.
• Listen to member concerns, handle complaints calmly and respectfully, and refer matters to management when necessary.
• Keep the reception area neat, organised and welcoming.
• Represent Zone Fitness professionally and support a welcoming environment that encourages health and fitness.

Requirements

• Grade 12.
• One to two years of receptionist experience would be an advantage.
• A neat, professional presentation appropriate to a customer-facing role.
• Friendly, clear and confident communication.
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
• Patience and diplomacy when assisting upset members or visitors.
• The ability to stay organised and work effectively under pressure.
• Computer literacy and good numeracy skills.
• Availability to work the advertised rotational shifts.
