INTERNAL & EXTERNAL VACANCY:
Receptionist/Practice Assistant
We are seeking to employ an experienced Receptionist/Practice Assistant at a Care Centre located at a Retirement Resort in Century City, Cape Town. The required Receptionist/Practice Assistant will assume full control and accept total accountabilities for all duties within this position.
The successful candidate will meet the following inherent job requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in using excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge on how to navigate the Healthware system
- Medical practice management experience and or experience with in-house medical software systems (advantageous)
- At least 5 years of prior Reception/Front of the house and customer service experience.
- Switchboard experience required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Other competencies required:
- Able to handle cash and keep book of same
- Knowledge of the ICD-10 coding system would be beneficial
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work both individually but also as a team
- Willing to work overtime if required
- Problem solving abilities
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations.
