Recruitment Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join a growing specialist technology recruitment team.

This is a 180° recruitment role focused on candidate delivery and relationship management. You will work closely with existing clients to understand their hiring requirements, identify and engage specialist technology professionals, and manage candidates through the recruitment process through to successful placement.

The role is fully remote, although candidates must be based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

The ideal candidate will be commercially aware, relationship-focused and motivated by delivering high-quality candidates within a fast-paced and target-driven recruitment environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and candidates.
• Develop a detailed understanding of clients' technical, commercial and hiring requirements.
• Source and identify specialist technology professionals across relevant markets.
• Proactively engage with and build relationships with prospective candidates.
• Manage the candidate recruitment process from initial engagement through to successful placement.
• Conduct candidate screening, qualification and interview preparation.
• Present suitable candidates to clients and manage the process through to placement.
• Manage candidate and client expectations throughout the recruitment process.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates and clients.
• Build and maintain a strong network of technology professionals.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within internal recruitment systems.
• Stay informed on technology, talent-market and hiring trends.
• Work towards individual recruitment activity, delivery and placement targets.
• Manage multiple vacancies and candidate processes effectively in a remote environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
• Comfortable working fully remotely and managing their own workload.
• Experienced in recruitment, talent acquisition or a related candidate-focused environment.
• Confident communicating with professionals at all levels.
• Strong at sourcing, screening and qualifying candidates.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, resilient and self-motivated.
• Excellent at building and maintaining professional relationships.
• Comfortable working towards recruitment activity and placement targets.
• Interested in technology and specialist talent markets.
• Able to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Recruitment experience is preferred, particularly within technology, IT, digital or specialist recruitment. Candidates with strong talent acquisition or candidate delivery experience may also be considered.

Pay: Up to R30 000,00 per month
