Recruitment Consultant (USA Market)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing: Identify, attract, and engage qualified veterinary professionals for relief (per diem/locum) and permanent opportunities through various sourcing channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, indeed, job boards, referrals, and internal databases
- Talent Pipeline Development: Proactively source and connect with prospective candidates through cold calling, networking, and relationship-building activities to maintain a strong and active talent pipeline.
- Candidate Screening & Assessment: Conduct comprehensive candidate screenings, interviews, and evaluations to ensure alignment with client requirements, organizational culture, and role expectations.
- Recruitment Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance recruitment strategies, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, labor market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and competitor activity to support effective recruitment strategies.
- Veterinary Industry Knowledge: Continuously develop expertise in veterinary terminology, career paths, staffing challenges, and industry developments to better support clients and candidates.
- Advertising & Employer Branding: Assist in the creation and execution of recruitment marketing and advertising campaigns to increase brand visibility and attract high-quality talent.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, clients, industry professionals, and referral sources to deliver exceptional customer service and generate new business opportunities.

Data & System Management: Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment activity updates, and placement information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment platforms.

General Support: Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support recruitment objectives and business needs.

- Recruitment Expertise: Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, talent pipelining, and candidate placement.

Education & Experience
- 1–2 years of recruitment experience required, preferably within healthcare, veterinary, staffing, or a related industry OR Vetenerian background
- Experience managing a full recruitment desk, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, placement, and client relationship management, is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in conducting high-volume recruiting activities, cold calling, and talent pipeline development.
- Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM tools, job boards, and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn, indeed, and Facebook.
- Familiarity with compensation discussions, offer negotiations, and candidate relationship management is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment with strong customer service expectations is an asset.
