Job description
A premier company based in Stellenbosch is looking for a qualified Red Seal Boilermaker Fitter with at least 4–5 years of experience to join our technical team. If you have a strong background in preventative maintenance and practical experience in liquid/glass bottling environments, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain paraffin boiler, cooling, borehole, and effluent systems
Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules to minimize downtime
Perform fault-finding, mechanical repairs, and general machinery maintenance
Ensure all plant systems and equipment operate at peak standard and compliance
Requirements:
Red Seal Trade Test Certificate – Boilermaker / Fitter (essential)
Fitter qualification/certificate – compulsory
Minimum of 4 - 5 years’ experience working as a boilermaker fitter
Proven practical experience in a maintenance environment
Experience with PMPM execution (planned preventative maintenance)
Experience in a glass bottling environment would be highly advantageous
Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Good communication (Afrikaans & English) and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and results driven
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work under pressure
Accuracy and attention to detail
