Job description
Job title: Dispatcher
Business Unit: Europcar
Reports to: Operations Manager | Lise Graham
Based at/in: Cape Town Depot, 5 Tower Road, Airport Industria, 7490
Position overall objective: The purpose of the position is to dispatch the correct vehicles from the depot to the relevant rental location timeously and in accordance with business requirements.
Reason for Vacancy: Replacement
Minimum Experience
- 3 years of car rental, logistics or fleet management experience
Minimum Qualification
- Grade 12/ Senior Certificate
Minimum Requirements
- Valid unendorsed driver’s license
- Computer Literate (proficiency required in Excel & Outlook)
Essential to note: The appointed person will be required to work day/night shifts.

Job Outputs
- Manage and improve effective and efficient vehicle turnaround
- Ensure that company assets and resources are safeguarded at all times.
- Manage movements / capturing of all movements
- Allocate vehicles according to correct locations
- Assist with supervising day-to-day vehicle operation/flow of the depot.
