Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Airconditioning Technician based in the City of Cape Town. The technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems. Day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing system issues, performing regular servicing, installing new systems, managing refrigerants, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The technician will be expected to interact with clients to provide solutions and maintain a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing air conditioning systems
• Experience in installation, maintenance, and servicing of air conditioning units
• Strong understanding of reading and interpreting technical diagrams and system schematics
• Knowledge of refrigerants and compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
• Ability to follow safety procedures and adhere to company policy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and team members
• Previous experience in air conditioning systems is preferred
• A valid driver's license is required

Pay: R6 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Goodwood, Western Cape
