Regional Center of Excellence Finance Manager, Sub-Sahara

Mission of the role/role pitch: Join us as the driving force behind Epiroc's Regional Centre of Excellence (RCoE) for Sub-Saharan Africa, leading the delivery of world-class finance services while shaping operational excellence, business performance, and sustainable growth across the region.

As the Regional Centre of Excellence Finance Manager , you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Johannesburg-based RCoE, overseeing Accounting to Reporting, Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, and Cash Application services. Beyond leading high-performing teams, you will manage the administrative operations of the entity and partner closely with regional and global stakeholders to drive efficiency, governance, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.

You will report directly to the Vice President of Controlling and Finance for Parts & Services division

Your Mission

• Lead the delivery of Finance Services across Africa, including Accounting to Reporting, Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, and Cash Application.
• Develop and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.
• Drive process excellence through digitalisation, automation, and LEAN methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with The Epiroc Way and global standards while supporting process harmonisation across the region.
• Build strong stakeholder partnerships to enable seamless collaboration and service delivery.
• Monitor performance and financial KPIs, taking action to achieve operational and cost-efficiency targets.
• Collaborate with the global finance community to enhance reporting, standardisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the administration and governance of the Johannesburg-based RCoE entity, supporting co-located regional and global functions.

Your Profile:

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5-8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business controlling leadership roles within global organizations.
• Proven ability to build trust and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team in a global or regional setting.
• Strong expertise in change management, with the ability to guide and coach teams through transformation.
• Exceptional communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
