Leadership Capability & Talent Development

  • Evaluating the capability and performance of ACs and lead their development through targeted coaching plans.
  • Holding ACs accountable for coaching quality, succession planning, discipline, and people capability in their areas.
  • Building sustainable talent pipelines for RGM and RM levels, ensuring readiness, certification, and strong internal promotions.
  • Addressing leadership behaviour issues quickly, transparently, and decisively

Culture & Leadership Transformation

  • Driving a high‑performance leadership culture built on accountability, consistency, discipline, and transparent communication.
  • Embedding leadership routines including weekly business rhythms, monthly people reviews, and quarterly capability sessions.
  • Leading by example and role model company values and leadership behaviours expected across the region.
  • Shifting regional leadership from reactive crisis management to proactive coaching and structured execution.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with HR, Finance, Training, Marketing and Development to land regional priorities effectively.
  • Supporting openings, remodels, upgrades, new product rollouts, and pilot projects by ensuring operational readiness at all levels.
  • Facilitating smooth communication between field leadership, restaurant support teams, and executive leadership

Growth, Innovation & Strategic Projects

  • Leading and/or contributing to projects and innovation rollouts within the business.
  • Driving long-term operational planning and regional scaling based on performance, capability, and market conditions.

Ideal Requirements

  • Advantageous: Tertiary qualification in Business, Operations Management, Leadership, Finance, or a related field, supported by a formal executive‑level strategic qualification (e.g., Executive Development Programme, Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management/Leadership, or equivalent).
  • 5-7+ years senior multi‑unit operations leadership (not limited to QSR) responsibility for a workforce of 700–800+ employees
  • Deep operational expertise in multi‑unit systems and standards: service quality assurance, operational compliance, food safety & hygiene, labour scheduling & deployment, inventory accuracy, and COGS management.
  • Advanced financial & analytical capability: P&L, budgeting, forecasting, variance management, EBITDA optimisation, and the ability to interpret financial, operational and people data to inform decisions and corrective action.
  • Proven track record of leading leaders: talent development, coaching quality, succession planning, and performance management that drives consistent high‑performance behaviours across dispersed teams
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively and work flexibly in line with operational needs.

Key Personal Inherent Characteristics

  • High personal accountability, discipline, and consistency.
  • Courageous decision-making and willingness to address underperformance.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all organisational levels.
  • Resilience, emotional intelligence, and stability under pressure.
  • Collaborative, people‑focused leadership with a growth mindset

Future Evolution of this Role

As the business grows, and subject to organisational needs and individual performance, this role may evolve into:

  • A multi-region strategic leader as the business grows.
  • A key contributor to operational strategy design, not just execution.
  • Operational Executive pipeline potential for the right candidate.
