About the Role

The Regional Financial Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations across multiple automotive dealerships or business units within a defined region. The role ensures financial accuracy, compliance, profitability, and strategic financial support to regional operations. Why join Hyundai?

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts for all

dealerships in the region

  • Analyse financial performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with company and regulatory

standards

  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and profitability across the region

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the regional budgeting and forecasting process
  • Review dealership budgets and provide recommendations for cost control and revenue

growth

  • Track performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies
  • Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness across all branches
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors

Operational Support

  • Partner with Dealer Principals and operational managers to drive financial

performance

  • Provide financial guidance on pricing, cost management, and profitability

improvement

  • Support business decision-making with financial modelling and analysis

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor dealership accountants and finance teams within the region
  • Ensure consistent financial practices and reporting standards
  • Conduct performance reviews and facilitate training where necessary

Risk Management

  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Monitor stock controls, vehicle financing, and asset management
  • Oversee credit control and debtor management processes

Key Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Professional qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA) – advantageous

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in financial management
  • Experience within the automotive or dealership environment is highly preferred
  • Proven experience managing multiple business units or regions

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge (e.g., Kerridge, Autoline, SAP)
  • Leadership and people management ability
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
