Job description
Indalo Hotels & Leisure is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Regional General Manager to oversee operational performance across multiple properties and support the delivery of strategic business objectives.
The successful candidate will provide leadership and operational oversight to ensure effective controls, service excellence, financial performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across the business. This role requires a highly capable hospitality leader with strong commercial understanding and a proven track record in senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and operational oversight across multiple properties and business units
- Monitor and improve financial performance and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and relevant regulations
- Maintain and drive quality standards across operations
- Monitor staff performance and work closely with Human Resources on people-related initiatives
- Oversee Food and Beverage operational performance and standards
- Ensure IT systems functionality and operational reliability
- Support recruitment and workforce planning initiatives
- Monitor and oversee capital expenditure projects
- Manage procurement processes and supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with risk management and company policies
- Support strategic and operational projects as required
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- Diploma or formal qualification in Hospitality Management
- Previous General Manager experience within the hospitality industry
- Food and Beverage operational experience
- Strong commercial and business acumen
Advantageous Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior management role
- Broad hospitality industry experience
- Previous regional or multi-site operational experience will be advantageous
